Welcome to the Visual Math Institute

Founded in 1975 at the University of California at Santa Cruz as the Visual Math Project, the Visual Math Institute moved off campus in 1994, following the early retirement of the founder/director, Professor Ralph Abraham.

This is the second website of the VMI. The original website on the campus of (hypatia.ucsc.edu) was created May 11, 1994.
