Long term simulation

For a simulation time of one year, for example, we must consider the annual (seasonal) variation of cordgrass biomass, sea water temperature, and rhizospheric bacterial population. We must use real (measured) values of tide heights, or multi-year averages, by month perhaps. These extrinsically varying control parameters are then fed to the one-flush model, which is integrated as a continuous-time model. The results are accumulated as a discrete-time model, each period corresponding to one tidal flush.
